Our Religious Advisor
Thirumathi Desa Mangayarkarasi
Thirumathi Desa Mangayarkarasi is a prominent and accomplished exponent of Tamil literature, celebrated for her eloquent Sorpozhivu (oratory) and impactful lectures on religious literature and women’s empowerment. Her speaking style, deeply influenced by her mentor Kripananda Variar, resonates with audiences worldwide through live programs at temples, as well as on television and social media platforms.
Born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, Thirumathi Desa Mangayarkarasi earned her degree in Tamil Literature from Kamaraj University.
Motivated by her father, Thirumathi Desa Mangayarkarasi began her journey of delivering lectures on revered Tamil scriptures such as Thirukkural, Thevaram, and Thiruvasagam. In addition to her oratory skills, she is trained in Carnatic music and Bharatanatyam. Her captivating religious lectures have reached audiences not only across India but also in countries such as the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia.
The Government of Tamil Nadu has honored her with the prestigious titles of “Kalaimamani” and “Kribananda Vani” in recognition of her literary contributions and religious discourses. Additionally, she has been appointed as a member of the advisory committee for major Hindu temples under the HR & CE Department of the Tamil Nadu Government. Her devotees have lovingly bestowed upon her the title “Sollarasi” (Queen of Words) for her exceptional ability to deliver extemporaneous lectures on topics related to Hinduism.

Sudha Periasamy MBA CPA
Sudha Periasamy is a Certified Public Accountant who runs her own full-scale accounting firm and provides tax and accounting services to all kinds of businesses, non-profit organizations as well as to individuals in the Dallas/Fort-Worth area more than twelve years.
Sudha’s experience as a CPA gives her valuable insight into financial literacy and freedom. She is interested in sharing her insight with her local Tamil community, especially with women. Sudha believes that everyone deserves financial freedom, and she teaches others valuable lessons in support of her beliefs.
Sudha is very passionate about preserving the Tamil language and culture. She volunteers in various nonprofit organizations such as the Dallas Mariamman Temple, Dallas Metroplex Tamil Sangam, Metroplex Tamil Academy (MTA) and FeTNA.
