Keerti Arun

My name is Keerti and I’m a junior at Reedy High School! I am the vice president of the youth
committee of the Arulmigu Mariamman Thirukovil. I chose to apply for this position because, I
wanted to take a more hands-on role in connecting our youth with the temple through service
and involvement.

I’ve always felt strongly about giving back to the community and highly enjoy
interacting and socializing with others. This position gives me a chance to do that while
encouraging others to take part as well. My main focus is on supporting both youth-led initiatives
and temple-wide needs through fundraising. In the coming year, I hope to create more
consistent and engaging fundraising opportunities that bring in ideas from youth across our
community.

I want to involve youth entrepreneurs, set up booths during temple events, and
encourage more participation through donation drives and cultural activities. My goal is to help
young people feel more connected to the temple and show how their efforts can make a real
difference.
