Haasini

Hi I’m Haasini!! I’m a Junior at Reedy High School and I’m so excited to be this year’s Volunteer
Event Coordinator at the Arulmigu Mariamman Temple. I love meeting new people and working
in big groups. As the Volunteer Event Coordinator, I help plan volunteer schedules, assign
tasks, communicate with our team, and make sure that everything runs smoothly during temple
events.

I’m also there as a point of contact in case anyone has questions or needs help during
an event. I’ve been tutoring kids for three years now, and that experience has really shaped who
I am. It has taught me how to be patient, stay organized, adapt when things don’t go as
planned, and clearly communicate with different people.

My goal is to put my skills to use by
making volunteering feel meaningful and fun while keeping everything efficient and
well-coordinated. I also want every volunteer to feel welcomed, appreciated, and like they’re an
important part of the team. Overall, I’m looking forward to helping build a strong, connected
community through service at the Arulmigu Mariamman Temple.
